Inside Scoop

Bringing You the Latest Tools to Help Your Business

Welcome 2024!

As you focus on your 2024 business goals, give yourself the gift of learning how the CDP Business & Credit Programs can help you start, stabilize, or grow your business with free business consults.

Schedule a meeting with Pam and Tricia over Zoom, in person at the CDP office, or our regional office hours at the Brewster Chamber of Commerce, Chatham Works, The 204 Cultural Ars & Municipal Building in Harwich, and Provincetown Commons.

This month, the CDP is teaming up with MassHire to share information about great employer services MassHire offers. Take advantage of the CDP's Regional Office Hours at the Provincetown Commons on January 23rd and meet with MassHire's Business Services Representative, Catherine Wilson.

This week, we celebrated and honored the life and legacy of Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr., a hero and leader in the fight for civil rights. His words were inspiring, but they weren’t just words he voiced. He lived his life fighting for racial justice and equality.

King would have been 95 years old on January 15th. His "Three Three Evils of Society" speech in 1967 is still relevant today:

"[W]e have deluded ourselves into believing the myth that capitalism grew and prospered out of the Protestant ethic of hard work and sacrifices. Capitalism was built on the exploitation of black slaves and continues to thrive on the exploitation of the poor, both black and white, both here and abroad."

The CDP is committed to building a diverse year-round community of people who can afford to live, work, and thrive on the Lower Cape and nurturing the launch and growth of small businesses owned by and supporting people of all races and backgrounds.
