Inside Scoop

Bringing You the Latest Tools to Help Your Business

Welcome Fall

Hello Friends,

We’ve got exciting news to kick off the season! Please join us in giving a warm welcome to the newest member of the CDP Business & Credit Programs team, Kwaku Ofori, or as he likes to be called, "KO". KO joined us in September, bringing with him an MBA from Babson in Entrepreneurship and a strong background in small business lending. He’s already diving in, meeting our clients, partners, and collaborators. If you haven’t met him yet, you will soon!

September has been buzzing with energy thanks to some fantastic networking events hosted by our friends at the Cape Cod Chamber, Cape Cod Young Professionals, Eastham Chamber, Provincetown Business Guild, Provincetown Chamber, Truro Chamber, and Wellfleet Chamber. We love connecting with our community, hearing your stories, sharing ideas, and exploring new ways to support your work.

Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for our winter workshops! Registration is now open for our QuickBooks Online three-part workshop, happening on January 15, 22, & 29, 2026. Whether you're just getting started or looking to sharpen your skills, this is a great opportunity to build confidence with your business finances.

We’re continuing to offer individual small business assistance which is available at our Orleans office, via Zoom, and during Regional Office Hours in Harwich and Provincetown. Let’s connect!

As we ramp up our off-season programming, we’re looking forward to seeing many of you — collaborating, learning, and growing together.

Warmly,

Pam

MA Small Business Survey - Please Respond

The Coalition for an Equitable Economy has partnered with The MassINC Polling Group and MassDevelopment on a new survey to understand the current state of Massachusetts small businesses, and their needs, challenges and opportunities for growth. Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and their effective functioning is a crucial part of building a resilient and inclusive economy. Your valuable feedback will be used to help inform policy and programmatic decisions about the support and resources small businesses need now and in the future. Your answers will only be analyzed together with other responses and will never be used to identify you personally.
