Our next Student Affairs Roundtables will take place on September 3rd and 4th at the Highland Campus. RSVP coming soon.

These in-person sessions will provide updates on our realignment progress, highlight current initiatives, and offer a space to engage directly with our Executive Deans and Change Management Lead. This is a valuable opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and stay connected to our shared mission.

Student Affairs Staff Updates

New Beginnings

We’re excited to welcome and celebrate the newest members of our Student Affairs team and those who have recently changed positions!

Join us in spotlighting our Student Affairs colleagues and congratulate them the next time you see them on campus.

Student Affairs Realignment Timeline

To help you stay informed, we’ve launched a refreshed Student Affairs Communications Timeline page. This page includes key dates, updates, and progress across the Realignment initiative and will be updated regularly. Bookmark it—and check back often!

Professional Development

We’ve reached an incredible milestone. After 10 months, 23 sessions, and 600 participants, the final Staff Culture Reboot training was held at Round Rock in July. Beginning with Student Affairs managers in fall 2024 and expanding to all staff in spring 2025, more than 95% of Student Affairs staff have now participated in these sessions, challenging each of us to embody our ACC values as we continue navigating this time of significant change. Thank you to everyone—from supervisors to front-line staff to Executive Deans—for participating and supporting this effort.

All Culture Reboot presentation slides are available on the Student Affairs Professional Development website, along with key materials such as the Culture Guidebook. Our team is working to compile all feedback and outcome data from these trainings. This information will be shared widely and will guide our future training and professional development offerings.

What's Ahead: New Employee Onboarding (NEO)

Get ready for an enhanced onboarding experience for new Student Affairs staff later this Fall! We're developing specialized training materials that will provide new team members with the tools and support they need from day one. These resources are designed to help newcomers succeed as they integrate into our Student Affairs community and make a meaningful impact. Be on the lookout for more details in next month's Insider.
