Happy New Year, Riverbats!!

We asked our Chancellor’s Student Achievement Award (CSAA) finalists to share with us how they "Start Strong" at the beginning of the semester. Check out the video above to hear from some of the students you nominated and their advice to their fellow students!

Additionally, Spring 2025 CSAA nominations are open now until March 28.

If you know a student who has made a lasting impact during their time at ACC, consider nominating them for the CSAA this semester. Graduating students can also submit a self-nomination!

As of Fall 2024, all ACC work-study students and their supervisors are officially part of the ACC GROW program. This exciting initiative marks a major step in transforming traditional student employment into high-impact learning experiences that prepare students for career success.

By integrating work and learning, ACC GROW (Guided Reflections on Work) empowers students to connect academic knowledge with real-world experiences while enhancing career readiness through skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership.

The impact of the program is evident in its outcomes: 90% of GROW students report feeling better prepared for employment after graduation, and 92% say that coaching helped them connect their work experiences to their academics.
