INSIDE
STUDENT GOVERNMENT
A MESSAGE
FROM PRESIDENT JARA
Hello, Long Beach State! Considering that this is our seventh weekly edition of Inside Student Government, it's safe to say that the semester is flying by.

We have some interesting updates for you in this newsletter, most of which revolve around the upcoming California Higher Education Student Summit (CHESS). I will join several other student representatives from all around campus to advocate for the best interests of the LBSU community at the State Capitol. We look forward to this Saturday when we will be leaving for Sacramento to take part in this amazing advocacy opportunity.

As a reminder, the mascot submission deadline is this Friday, March 8. We are excited to review the hundreds of submissions already received, and we'd like to thank each and every student with a unique entry!

We would also like to thank the many motivated students that applied for ASI elections this semester. We wish you all the best on your campaigns come March 11!

We hope you all have a fantastic rest of your week!
Go Beach!
