INSIDE
STUDENT GOVERNMENT
|
|
A FINAL MESSAGE
FROM YOUR EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
|
|
Welcome to this year's final edition of Inside Student Government! What a remarkable school year it's been; with Smorgasport, the 2018 elections, the sold-out ASI Big Event and so much more, it's safe to say that this year has been one for the books. Each and every student from all corners of our campus deserves huge congratulations for making it this far - ASI would not be what it is without all of you!
And who could forget the mascot search? Throughout the three-day student polling period, we received thousands of votes on the what the future of our mascot should be - sharks, stingrays, or no mascot. As many of you already know, following the student referendum and ratification by President Conoley, the shark is now the
official mascot
of Long Beach State! Thank you to everybody who has contributed and participated throughout the entire mascot search process!
If you need a place to study next week, check out the extended USU hours below. Come with friends or enjoy our quiet study rooms in peace. Additionally, free coffee, snacks and other refreshments will be provided throughout the week. Whichever way you prefer to study, ASI is here for you!
To all of our graduating students, we wish you a huge congratulations and the best of luck in your future aspirations! Thank you for helping to make ASI such a special organization throughout your time at LBSU.
On behalf of ASI, we hope you all have a great week! Good luck on finals!
