Hello, Long Beach State! I hope you all had a wonderful break and are ready to finish out the semester strongly.
Before we left for break, our university experienced a great level of community involvement with the launch of Beach 2030. Over 3,600 participants contributed more than 24,300 ideas and ambitions that will be incorporated in the planning o
f the future of Long Beach State. On behalf of all faculty, staff and students, we thank you for your contributions and are excited for what's to come.
Additionally, I would like to highlight some of the work that has been done in the Associated Students Senate. One resolution in particular, SR #2019-05: Support Trans Students, reaffirms ASI's support for trans-students through this tumultuous political environment. ASI stands strong with all students, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, and we will continue to work as hard as we can to advocate on your behalf.
