Happy Wednesday, Long Beach State! Hopefully you're all achieving success in your classes and extracurricular activities. On behalf of Lobby Corps, the executive officers and all of student government, I would like to thank all of our patriotic students that have registered to vote since the beginning of the semester. You are all part of the change that this country has been waiting for, and you should be proud of your engagement.
Last week, I attended the Graduation Initiative 2025 Symposium at San Diego State University, a conference focused on reducing barriers to four-year graduation in the Cal State system. I also attended the Cal State Student Association meeting where we discussed a resolution that would set regulations for raising administrative salaries, approved our new mission statement and discussed potential pieces of legislation that we can eventually take a stance on. Throughout the meeting, I advocated for the students of Long Beach State and established a game plan for improving the student experience at our university. If you have any questions or comments regarding issues or efforts that are happening across the CSU, please feel free to reach out to me - I would appreciate your opinions and insight to better advocate on your behalf.
Your student leaders will continue to work diligently, and we look forward to seeing the progress of our university, both short- and long-term. Don't forget to vote!
