The District of Squamish invites the community to join us in recognizing Black History Month, an opportunity to celebrate and learn about the achievements and contributions made by Black Canadians and their communities, whose voices past and present should be honoured and respected every day.
The Squamish Public Library has assembled a collection of fiction and non-fiction books to deepen your awareness and learning. These lists are updated regularly, and recommendations are always welcome. You can also visit the newly renovated Library throughout the month of February to view Black History Month resources on display.
