We want to hear from all Squamish residents as we plan for the future of the Garibaldi Estates. Let us know how you use the area and how the area can support a diversity of housing options, employment space, transportation, and community amenities in the future.

The District of Squamish is also hosting online and in-person open houses to invite residents to learn and share feedback on the Garibaldi Estates Neighbourhood Planning Process. Oceanfront Squamish Update: Marine Users
With in-water works scheduled daily, it is critical to keep a wide berth when navigating waters near the southern end of the oceanfront peninsula to avoid running aground. Orange buoys have been placed delineating the area that should be avoided when coming in and out of the Mamquam Blind Channel.
For your safety, please respect all construction signage. We ask all marine traffic (including paddleboards, canoes, powerboats, sailboats etc.) to steer clear of this area. Matthews West appreciates the public’s cooperation at this time.
