Your support brought so much joy!

Friends, thanks to your incredible support of our Holiday Program, Raphael House was overflowing with smiles in December. Together we were able to spread cheer to over 158 families, including 268 children and teens!

That's 426 domestic violence survivors in total – our hearts are so full, and we're deeply grateful to each of you for helping make this possible. 🌟

In our free holiday "store", survivors picked out brand new toys and stocking stuffers for each of their children, special personal care products for themselves, AND a gift card to use on what they need most. Every one of these items was generously donated!

For survivors of domestic violence, the ability to make decisions has been taken away in the past by abusers. But thanks to this incredible community, families had the opportunity to choose what’s best for themselves through our Holiday Program.

The healing power of this is immense, and has a lasting impact on our participants – many of whom were also forced to leave everything behind to escape violence.

One survivor shared, "this is really going to help me give the kids the Christmas they deserve!”

This was all made possible by YOU – our wonderful community – who showed up for survivors by hosting over 40 donation drives, giving thousands of toys and essential items, and donating 300+ hours by 116 volunteers.

We're grateful to our Holiday Program sponsor Cigna and our Donation Drop-off event host Tabor Heights United Methodist Church.

Our immense appreciation also to volunteer groups from Fortis Construction, New Seasons Market, Radius Recycling, Verizon Wireless, Willamette Christian Church, and Windermere Realty Trust, along with friends and family of Raphael House Board members Jennifer Gardiner and Theresa Weil (including students from St. Rose School) for their enthusiastic help.

And heartfelt thanks to all these incredible donation drives across our community, who helped collect and contribute families' most requested items:
