This is the final 2017 edition of "In The Cloud". The holidays will soon be upon us, and many of us will take time to look back and reflect over the past year with a sense of accomplishment and growth. That is how I feel writing this.
But beyond that, I feel a sense of gratitude for so many things. This year, USGN added four new employees to our already amazing company, and we added two giant corporate retail accounts to our growing list of blue chip customers! Then, there was yet another successful Annual Conference in October. This year, Mary Gibson will celebrate her 20th year and Justin Wilkins his 10th year working with me at USGN! Yet, even with our accomplishments and growth this year, our greatest accomplishment has been building strong customer relationships and supporting your amazing vision!

An overwhelming 48% of our clients responded.
Regarding module usage:
- 70% are using or are implementing the Construction module.
- A growing number (22%) are now using the Facilities Work Order Management module.
Regarding overall satisfaction ranking:
- 29% ranked USGN “above expectations”.
- 24% ranked USGN “above average”.
- 47% ranked USGN “meets expectations”.

The 2017 USGN Annual Conference
was held October 24-25 in Tempe, AZ.
Highlights included:
- Keynote speaker, Greg Head, co-founder of SalesLogix and publisher of GregsList, who addressed the crowd by blending his business experience with industry and world trends
- Ken Smerz, President and CEO, and Jeff Querrey, Commercial Division Leader, from Eco3d who presented how they capture data via 2d/3d representations to create plans and models for various venues, including retail, entertainment and hospitality
Other key pieces of the event were:
- Launch of GridView
- Results of 2017 Client Survey (see details above)
- Unveiling of USGN’s new user manual
- Update on USGN’s robust project management platform
Attendees enjoyed a desert jeep tour and dinner on opening night and an opportunity to relax at the world-class Tempe Mission Palms.
