Membership Meeting (Virtual) on February 10

On February 10 at 11:30 AM - 1 PM CT, all RGCA members are invited to participate in a virtual member meeting. The agenda will include updates from RGCA board and committees and opportunities to discuss member priorities for 2021. 

Members are asked to RSVP by Monday, February 8.


ICYMI - NEW CONSUMER RESEARCH POSTED TO OUR WEBSITE
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a change in consumer and corporate gift card purchase behavior. These changes have made the ability to forecast spending on gift cards a challenge.

Therefore, RGCA commissioned a consumer research study aimed at understanding how consumer behavior related to gift card purchasing has changed during the COVID pandemic, estimate the extent to which gift card purchasing within the next 6 months will differ compared to prior years, and determine sentiment and acceptance of e-gift cards versus physical plastic cards.

The results have been posted to the members-only section of our website.

NATIONAL TELEVISION OPPORTUNITIES
The RGCA is offering three national television opportunities for consumer-facing members to promote their gift card programs at a significantly discounted rate of $2,500 per opportunity. The national TV opportunities will air on more than 400 regional TV stations across the country and reach more than six million viewers.

The Fletcher Group, RGCA’s PR firm, will manage the entire process for you. You will just need to provide inactive gift cards, packaging and a few sentences about your gift card program, and they’ll do the rest.

• Stress-Free Gift Giving: Airs December 3 and 4

We are accepting sign-ups for all three holiday gifting themed broadcast segments. The deadline to sign up for the Springtime Gift Guide opportunity is February 12.
