INSIDE THE TEXT

with Pastor John. Today we're looking at John 18:33-37, where Jesus gets very apocalyptic about is questioned about being a king. We read this text in preparation for Reign of Christ and Consecration Sunday. As always, feel free to share comments, questions, and curiosities on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

STEWARDING OUR BELOVED COMMUNITY

with aili langseth and steve paulson | make your pledge here

Building a caring community where people can hear the living Gospel and feel the love of God embodied in our presence, actions, and ministries takes profound commitment and intention. And it’s only by the dedication of faithful people who want to love as Jesus loves, serve as Jesus served, and be the messy and imperfect Body of Christ together, that our innate need for belonging and Belovedness are made manifest.

What that means and how that happens is different for each of us, including Aili Langseth who shared with us why it's important for her to be a part of the community here and how giving became a central piece of her faith expression. Listen to Steve Paulson's story about how Gethsemane has been the church his family has been a part of for generations and how important that has been for him over the years. Hear these stories and let them inspire your own.

You can make your 2025 stewardship pledge online or bring your pledge card to worship on Sunday, November 24 for our consecration service.
