Giving Back: Nominate a Training School or Facility to be a Recipient of a Donation from iConnect Training

It’s getting near year-end, and what a great time to make donations to charitable and educational organizations. We agree and would like to make a donation to the entities that you respect in our HVAC training industry.

Submit your favorite HVAC non-profit or educational entity that does training (such as a community college or training program), and tell us why iConnect Training would benefit this organization’s mission, and why you think they are deserving. (It could even be where you work!)

We will draw (3) winning entities who will each receive a $2,000 gift certificate to be used toward the purchase of iConnect Training units in the next 2 years!

And the (3) individuals who submitted the winning entities will be honored in a press release, and receive an iConnect Training thermal mug with a crisp $100 bill inside.
  • Winners to be chosen and announced in the next newsletter
  • $2,000 credit may be used toward any iConnect Training Unit (equipment only) ordered in the next 2 years; from 1/1/2022 to 12/31/2023.
  • Deadline for submission by Dec. 3, 2021.
Congratulations to our October Contest winner, Robert Crump of Bee Cool HVAC Services & Repair, Center Valley, PA.

We asked Robert what was unique about the TU-810 and he replied, "Data in real time!"

Robert uses the data to teach students how to trust the numbers to develop an efficient testing program for equipment.

PODCAST • Conversations from The EDGE
How Do We Attract Young Workers to Skilled Trade Industries?
Skills tradesmen and craftsmen jobs are out there and in high demand. We tackled the topic of filling jobs in skilled trades today on this episode of Conversations from the Edge by Service Logic. Joining the conversation was Greg Crumpton, Vice President at Service Logic, and Gary McCreadie, Founder of HVAC Know-It-All.

The skilled tradesmen we have all grown up calling to fix our air conditioners, plumbing, or roofing, are beginning to retire. Crumpton referred to the phenomenon as the “Silver Tsunami.” As these Baby Boomer craftsmen close out their careers, no one is stepping up to fill the shoes. But why?

Looking for an HVAC/R trainer to demonstrate the refrigeration cycle of domestic refrigerators?

Check out this video of our TU-100 Basic Refrigeration Trainer!

With this popular training unit, HVAC/R teachers will be able to give their students hands-on experience before they go out on a job site. Plus, they’re able to familiarize themselves with name brands they might see out in the field.
