EFFINGHAM EXPANSION

Effingham County School District (ECDS) and Savannah Technical College (STC) celebrated academic expansions in Effingham County on July 18 with a groundbreaking ceremony for the Effingham County School District Performing Arts Center and the Jack Hill Conference Center and ribbon-cuttings for STC’s Nursing/Science Lab expansion and STC’s Commercial Truck Driving training expansion its Effingham Campus. Read more.

$470K PRACTICAL NURSING GRANT

The Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce recently awarded $470K for STC's Practical Nursing program.

Students won top honors at the national SkillsUSA competition this summer. Congrats to our gold-medal winning OSHA team.

STEWART ELECTED GEORGIA PRESIDENT

Corina Stewart was elected the SkillsUSA President for Georgia as a state officer.

CADETS GRADUATE

Sixteen graduates from STC's Peace Officer Academy are now qualified to be state-certified peace officers. Ten have jobs with area departments.
