College receives ASN Initial Approval

The Georgia Board of Nursing granted initial approval for the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program at Savannah Technical College. The first cohort of 24 students will begin in January 2025 at STC's Effingham Campus with its new nursing lab.  Read more.

Savannah Tech understands the importance of collective impact work throughout a community to increase language and literacy development from cradle to career. Child Care Resource and Referral of Southeast Georgia, housed at Savannah Technical College, works with child care programs across a 40-county region including Chatham County. The College is proud to partner with United Way of the Coastal Empire, Coastal Georgia Indicators Coalition, Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, and other community organizations to increase third-grade reading levels, which will lead to increased high school graduation rates along with college and workforce readiness. Foundation earns Role Model Board
