Kennebec Behavioral Health and Crisis & Counseling Center to Join Together | |
Kennebec Behavioral Health (KBH) and Crisis & Counseling Centers are pleased to announce that they will be joining forces on December 1, 2024. This partnership reflects their shared dedication to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care for the central Maine community. By coming together, they aim to ensure that community members continue to receive the seamless, high quality support they need and deserve.
By combining resources and expertise, KBH and Crisis & Counseling Centers will be able to offer an even broader range of services. All current programs and services will continue in the same locations with the same dedicated professionals they have come to trust.
A wide range of mental health services and programs, including Crisis Stabilization and Mobile Crisis, will now be offered under the name Kennebec Behavioral Health. The transition team is working collaboratively with Maine Department of Health and Human Services which licenses and contracts with both agencies for the provision of mental health and substance use disorder services in Maine.
