Six Kittens Rescue is always looking to do more to give back to the community we all know and love. Because of this, we are launching our inaugural “Community Cats Calendar” benefiting our TNR efforts. TNR is short for trap, neuter, and release, and is the most effective, humane method of controlling the unwanted cat population. While community cats can certainly benefit us, such that they are amazing hunters and do a great job keeping pests away, they also pose the risk of disease spread, nuisance, and injury to local wildlife. Part of our mission as Six Kittens Rescue is to do our part to reduce this population while decreasing the spread of infectious, and zoonotic diseases. Although Six Kittens Rescue is primarily a neonatal kitten rescue, we feel as though it would be irresponsible to turn a blind eye to the adult cats our kittens come from. In order to expand these efforts, we need your help! We are excited to partner with YOU to create a Six Kittens Rescue calendar to highlight local businesses that care about giving back to our community while helping control the cat overpopulation that we are all too familiar with! Spots are limited and the deadline to register is November 7th! You can view more information about sponsorship levels, involvement, and how to register by visiting the following link: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/calspo/event/856595/

We invite you to consider this award-winning intercultural communication training program designed especially for people who want to become more culturally competent in how they engage with others and those seeking professional development skills they can apply in the workplace.

Community of Respect is an interactive seminar that helps attendees better understand their cultural values and how those impact their engagement with others, culminating in case studies that apply concepts learned during the seminar. The intercultural skills gained prepares participants to work with people from backgrounds, cultures and/or countries unlike their own. The seminar is conducted at a beginner level; however, all are welcome.
