On Tuesday, December 3rd SPIRITT Family Services hosted An Evening with Friends, a heartfelt celebration of community and generosity. Held on Giving Tuesday, the event brought together supporters, board and advisory members, and champions of SPIRITT’s mission for an evening filled with connection, gratitude, and inspiration. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of a $100,000 check to SPIRITT Family Services by Los Angeles County Board Supervisor Hilda Solis, recognizing SPIRITT’s critical contributions to the community. Funds are designated towards the enhancement of the South El Monte Family Center.

SPIRITT's Blooming Minds Spring Fundraiser

We are excited to announce a special event that promises to inspire and uplift our community! Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 8, 2025, as SPIRITT hosts the Blooming Minds: A Journey to Mental Wellness Fundraiser Luncheon.

This event will be dedicated to promoting mental wellness and supporting vital programs that make a difference in the lives of the countless children and families we serve. This event will feature inspiring speakers, engaging activities, raffles, and a delicious lunch, all while raising funds to support SPIRITT's critical programming. Ayurveda Wellness

SPIRITT is hosting Ayurveda at our Whittier Family Center (English) and our Bell Gardens Family Center (Spanish). Ayurveda is based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance or stress in a person's consciousness, it encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment.

Building Connections: Partnership For Familes Home Visitation Services

At the heart of our community’s strength are the bonds of family. Recognizing this, our Partnership For Families Home Visitation Services are dedicated to nurturing these bonds through comprehensive support tailored to the unique needs of fathers, pregnant women, and teen parents. This vital program offers various services including parenting guidance, opportunities to forge social connections, engaging parent/child activities, and professional therapy.

Designed to support families with children up to 12 months old, our services not only foster child development and family wellness but also strengthen the community safety net. By centering family needs and focusing on holistic development, we empower parents and their children to thrive together, ensuring a resilient, connected, and secure community for all.

Fatherhood Support Groups (Ongoing)

We are calling all father figures! Join SPIRITT's Fatherhood support group and cultivate healthy parenting relationships, strengthen bonds with your children, and share resources with fellow fathers. Support groups are held via Zoom, at our South El Monte Family Center, and Bell Gardens Family Center.

Unase al grupo de apoyo a la paternidad de SPIRITT y cultive relaciones de crianza saludables, fortalezca los vinculos con sus hijos y participe en el intercambio de recursos con otros padres. Intimate Partner Violence Support Groups

SPIRITT is hosting Intimate Partner Support Groups at our Whittier Family Center (English), Bell Gardens Family Center (Spanish), and via Zoom. Our groups provide a safe and inclusive space where you can begin your healing journey while connecting with other survivors of intimate partner violence.

SPIRITT Wraparound Service

Our Wraparound Team provides intensive, field-based support for families with children experiencing severe emotional and behavioral challenges. Through a dedicated group of Wraparound Therapists, Child Family Specialists, Parent Partners, and Facilitators, we offer on-the-ground services designed to help children and families address their unique needs. The team collaborates closely with each family, building on their strengths and providing crisis intervention and support 24/7 and evening parent support groups for added community.

This essential service is available for children and young adults, ages 0-21, who meet Medi-Cal eligibility, have an open DCFS or Probation case, are post-adoption, or are at risk of losing placement. By tailoring services to each family’s needs, we’re here to provide the compassionate, individualized care they deserve.
