The UK and Canada are running a joint funding competition to support collaborative research and development (CR&D) projects, to develop new products, processes and services. The BSP program is open to incorporated high-growth businesses that have been operating in western Canada for a minimum of 2 years. The recent rail blockades have generated much discussion and for many, frustration. There is frustration from Indigenous communities who believe their rights are being ignored and also from businesses that believe their right to conduct business is being hampered. Canada has some important work to do to find a path forward that will provide greater clarity and overall fairness. The SCC sent a letter to Deputy Prime Minister Freeland and several other government leaders including Premier Moe. Residents in central and northern Saskatchewan will soon have improved access to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services thanks to Mayfair Diagnostics. The Saskatchewan Health Authority has awarded a contract to Mayfair Diagnostics to deliver publicly-funded, community-based MRI services in Saskatoon and to continue providing MRI services in Regina.
