Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, members of His flock, of which Jesus is the Shepherd (John 10:16), Jesus being the first to preach His gift of repentance (Matthew 4:17), now calling on each of us also to preach repentance (Luke 24:47).
Repentance is a gift, not a punishment. Many think there's no need for repentance, Jesus' Blood having solved all sin issues for all of us. Or, it's enough just to say "I'm sorry" for a recent outburst of anger; that's repentance.
No, it's deeper than that: it requires a spiritual mature personal decision, leading to a change of mind, leading to a change of heart, leading to a change of purpose and conduct, seen by others.
It's a heart that is open to the loving conviction of the Holy Spirit, leading to fruit in His Kingdom (Matthew 3:8; Ephesians 4:29-32; Revelation 3:19-21).
A W Tozer had a good word on this in his book The Radical Cross: Liiving the Passion of Christ:
In every Christian heart there is a cross and a throne, and the Christian is on the throne until he puts himself on the cross.
If he refuses the cross he remains on the throne.
Perhaps this is at the backsliding and worldliness among gospel believers today. We want to be saved but we insist that Christ do all the dying.
No cross for us, no dethronement , no dying.
We remain king within the little kingdom of MANSOUL and wear our tinsel crown with all the pride of a Caesar,
but we doom ourselves to shadows and weakness and spiritual sterility.

You and I don't need to insist that Christ do all the dying. We are awakening to the gift of repentance. We want to remove backsliding and worldliness.
On Friday, October 23, NDR will have another NDR/GDR day of repentance, following the success of the NDR on 9/11. God willing, this will be an opportunity to sincerely repent, in private, on personal issues such as forgiveness, and removing offenses. Time will be taken in private as part of the NDR zoom call focusing also on idolatry in all nations. Prior to the conclusion of the zoom there will be Declarations to return to our Godly roots, including voting for and electing candidates in the USA with Biblical values.

The Holy Spirit is moving through you and me at NDR to awaken His Flock, jew and gentile, globally (John 10:16), to the need to cleanse through repentance to be a part of His Bride; He's the soon-coming Bridegroom (Matthew 25:1-13).

2 Corinthians 9:7,8: "So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things , may have an abundance for every good work."
