Educators are Heroes!

Kindness (Month) Continues!

Dear SPARK Family:

Kindness Week was such a huge success that we've decided to continue it (at a mellower pace) and morph into Kindness Month! Let's continue this energy of resilience and unity in the face of challenge and we will share your messages!

The outpouring of support   for our teachers, school administrators, nurses, guidance  counselors , reading specialists, librarians, paraprofessionals, school staff, custodians, and School Committee members has been amazing! The messages of gratitude were bountiful during Kindness Week, and they keep coming!!  What is clear:
  • Teachers are always heroes. Recently, their importance (and the difficulty of their work) has become even more visible to people throughout the world.
  • Schools support students (and our community) in more ways than we ever imagined: academics, mental/emotional health, food security, physical health, transportation, and providing a consistent and caring adult presence for every child.

Your gratitude and generosity of spirit toward the schools is making difference! They need your support now more than ever. And if you are an educator reading this, you're our hero!
Also - HERE are SPARK's new programs and resources to support you during this time.
In kindness to you and in gratitude for all of our educators!
