NEW ML Re-Invented will open at noon.

Nyack ARTWALK kicks off at 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 15
From noon to 1:30 p.m., a
Boho Bracelet-Making Class with Claudia will be the first of the special events planned for the NEW ML. Claudia Bonilla of Lucky 7 Southpaw Craft is a Nyack resident and jewelry maker. Inspired by nature, history and current events, Claudia's jewelry showcases simple-yet-complex themes interpreted in metal and natural materials. You can see and purchase her work at Maria Luisa. Course fee is $35, which includes materials.

- The 11th annual African American Day Parade and Festival, which gets underway at noon Saturday, will once again celebrate culture and community in Nyack. New England Patriots and hometown Nyack residents Devin & Jason McCourty will serve as the parade grand marshals. more details
