COMMUNITY UPDATE
Dear Inspiration Homeowner,

Feedback regarding our 2024 Lifestyle Event calendar has been very positive, and we thank all homeowners for taking the time to provide their valuable opinions as well as for participating in the survey. Since communicating the new plan, we have received a few questions that we felt needed to be clarified.

Food & Beverage at Events – in the past, the HOA attempted to provide food and beverage (and/or alcohol) at certain events. We will continue to provide food and beverages at specific events. However, with the growth of the community and limitations on the event budget, food trucks will be utilized where needed. We will also continue to seek sponsors to offset budgetary costs.
In the past, the HOA offered complimentary beer at the annual Oktoberfest and some form of alcoholic beverage at numerous other events. Unfortunately, legal counsel recommended against the HOA paying for or serving alcohol going forward as it comes with the risk of liability to all members of the association. This change was reflected this year with all alcoholic beverages being provided through sponsors and served by TABC-certified individuals. In 2022, beer was provided on a complimentary basis at the Oktoberfest event. We apologize for the change this year. The Oktoberfest event will still feature beer for sale. Please also join us in thanking Texas Sold ‘Em for sponsoring the location fee for the beer truck. Without this sponsorship, we would not have beer to serve as our initial sponsor canceled last minute.

2024 Event Calendar – We are excited to introduce a new approach to the calendar of events for 2024 and for the addition of some new events, such as the annual Inspire Around the World. Once again, thank you to all homeowners who participated by providing feedback. As noted in a recent communication, community events are always a work in progress annually. As the community grows and changes, an annual survey will continue to be sent to ensure the HOA is creating a calendar that creates a fun environment for all.

The Board also approved complimentary use of Club Inspiration for those homeowners wishing to celebrate specific cultural events. Twelve dates have been reserved annually for such events of 50 or more participants and require a deposit. Each event is also required to be open to the entire.

New Sports Committee – thank you to several residents who have shown interest in serving on a sports committee. We are very excited about the potential of this committee and look forward to communicating their plans once in place.
Warm regards,
