COMMUNITY UPDATE
Dear Inspiration Homeowner,

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who participated in our recent Lifestyle Events Survey. Your feedback has provided the Board of Directors with invaluable insights into homeowner preferences and interests, which will greatly influence the plans for the upcoming year.

Without further ado, we are excited to share highlights of the survey along with the 2024 plan that has been adopted by the Board.

  • Volunteers – 21 homeowners would serve on a committee, and 69 would be willing to assist with individual events.

In summary, respondents represent a little over 13% of the community. The Board has also considered feedback from current Event Entourage volunteers, committee members, the management team, and individual residents who have expressed their opinions.  In developing a plan for future events it is always difficult to please 100% of the community. Please keep in mind it is the Board’s responsibility to create programming that appeals to the majority of homeowners to the best of their knowledge. This is a work in progress, and continued feedback from our homeowners will help us evolve our calendar throughout the years for the enjoyment of all.

2024 Lifestyle Event Plan Highlights

With a strong interest in continuing the traditional favorites, eliminating smaller events, and adding a focus on sports and cultural events, the Board of Directors has adopted a plan for 2024 that will provide much improvement.  We will ensure the annual traditions remain a highlight of our community calendar while addressing other recommendations. Please note, the annual budget for lifestyle events was primarily dedicated to larger traditional events. The HOA is not in a position to increase the budget at this time but has reorganized the calendar and budget to address the 2024 goals and objectives.

1.      Sports Activities – The HOA is seeking homeowners who have an interest in organizing sports leagues and activities such as Pickleball, Volleyball, Disc Golf, Golf, Soccer, Cricket, etc. The goal is to create a Sports Committee with the purpose of organizing sports activities within the community.  The Board has dedicated a budget to this committee. If you have an interest in serving, please contact the HOA office. The goal is to have a committee formed by the end of October to begin planning for 2024.

2. Cultural Events – We greatly value the vibrant tapestry of cultures that enrich our community. Our aim has always been to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all residents, regardless of their background or heritage. Over the years, we have proudly celebrated American-themed events, which have become cherished traditions. However, we recognize that we have a wonderful opportunity to expand our horizons and embrace the diverse cultural heritage of our residents.
In light of this, we are excited to announce a new initiative that seeks to introduce international-themed cultural events into our community calendar. These events will be in addition to the traditional American-themed gatherings, and we are committed to ensuring that both aspects of our cultural celebrations receive support.
To make this possible, we are introducing an Inspire Around the World event that will afford homeowners an opportunity to delight in the tasty cuisine of different cultures while featuring special traditions in dance, cultural attire, etc. Our first Inspire event will be held this November.  We are also seeking homeowners interested in organizing this event to please contact the HOA office.
Use of Club Inspiration will also be extended to cultural groups on a complimentary basis to host individual events. This gesture is intended to provide the necessary space, equipment, decorations, and resources to share traditions and experiences with all homeowners. The Board has initially approved one event monthly to be awarded on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, please contact the association office.
3. Seasonal Promotions – In addition to traditional events, the 2024 calendar will continue to feature and enhance seasonal promotions:
Spring Season (March, April, May)

Summer Season (June, July, August)

Summer Season (June, July, August)

Winter Season (Dec., Jan., Feb.)
Farmer’s Markets, Craft Fair, Corn Hole Tournaments

Dive-In Movie Nights at the Pool, Karaoke

Campfires, Live Music Series, Farmer’s Markets

Winter Games (Bingo, Game Nights, Polar Plunge)
4. Large Events – The association is also looking to establish a wristband initiative to ensure the proper amount of food and beverages is available for all future large events. Residents who wish to attend an event would be required to get a wristband for their household before the event. Should residents wish to bring guests, additional wristbands would be available for a fee that has yet to be determined. This is a process that has been adopted by several HOA’s to address event attendance and is currently being reviewed by the Board.

Again, thank you to all residents who participate, support, and provide feedback to the Board to ensure the Association fosters unity and appreciation for the rich tapestry of cultures within our community. It is our intention to strengthen the bonds and promote understanding, respect, and friendship among all members of our community.

We are open to suggestions and feedback from all residents and committed to working together to make these events a success. If you have any thoughts or ideas, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Warm regards,
