Dear Inspiration Residents,

As we reflect on 2025, it’s clear that our community continues to thrive, adapt, and grow—thanks to your engagement and the dedication to making this a great place to live. This year marks a pivotal transition as Inspiration moves from developer-led to resident-led governance, with two additional resident Board members taking office in March. This milestone empowers us to shape our future together.

Financial Stewardship & Strategic Partnerships

A major achievement this year was the seamless transition of Wylie Fire & EMS financial and contractual management from the HOA to CCWD#3, our ‘District’ local governing body, ensuring sustainable funding and service continuity.

Our partnership with CCWD#3 continued, along with Frontier, as high-speed fiber internet was installed in Inspiration. As part of this new infrastructure, the Board was able to obtain a contractual agreement with Fronter that not only ensured 100% of Inspiration would be serviced by Frontier, but also creating a revenue share agreement with the HOA which will support funding for HOA operations and future capital improvement projects.

The Board completed a professional reserve study, strengthening our long-term financial planning and safeguarding our assets for years to come. The Board’s careful review of our annual reserve study and a comprehensive SWOT analysis with prioritization led to the approval of the 2026 budget which included a reduction in annual assessments, balancing fiscal responsibility with community enhancements.

Policy Updates

This year we updated key policies to reflect our evolving needs in a maturing community including: 

• Architectural Guidelines

• Commercial Vehicle Policy

• Club Inspiration Rental Policy 

These updates provided greater clarity, consistency, and fairness for all residents.

Amenity Improvements

The lower level of the Fitness Center received major upgrades to improve the reliability, safety, and user experience. The Fitness Center averages more than 1,000 visits per week, underscoring its role as the heart of our community. The Club Inspiration buildings also received a fresh coat of exterior paint and stain which greatly enhanced the appearance of our two primary amenities.

Community Engagement & Events

2025 was a banner year for community events, with residents coming together for memorable celebrations. Our 4th of July Celebration drew record attendance, bringing neighbors together for patriotic fun, games, and festivities. The Home & Garden Expo showcased local talent and produce, supporting small businesses and healthy living.

Beyond these signature events, Inspiration thrives thanks to active resident groups. Bunco, poker, and right-left-center offer regular opportunities for friendly competition, laughter, and camaraderie. These groups, along with others, contribute to the welcoming spirit and sense of belonging that define our community.

Growth & Service

This year the Board approved the formation of a new Landscaping Committee, empowering residents to shape the beauty and sustainability of our shared spaces. The Board also recently assumed responsibility and revenue from CCWD#3 for areas included in the Right-of-Way along Inspiration Boulevard and Huffines Boulevard project, further enhancing our ability to promote resident-led stewardship of Inspiration’s beautification.

Looking Ahead

Inspiration’s growth continues, with total home numbers rising and new neighbors joining our vibrant community every month. As we celebrate these accomplishments, the Board remains focused on strengthening our long-term financial stability via reserve accruals, enhancing amenities and outdoor environments, improving communication and transparency, and expanding opportunities for community involvement. Your participation, feedback, and pride in our neighborhood are the foundation of our success. Together, we’re building a community that’s financially sound and welcoming to all.

In 2026 we have planned and budgeted for new playground shade structures, additional shade at the pool, the Right-of-Way landscaping project, tree replacements, neighborhood park improvements, and other beautification and maintenance projects. We are also studying the feasibility of expanding existing amenities
