ARC Modification

Website

Greetings,

Keeping your landscape beds free of weeds and grass is essential for a beautiful and healthy outdoor space. Here are some effective strategies:

  • Mulch: A layer of mulch helps suppress weeds and retain moisture. Choose a mulch that is suitable for your climate and the plants in your beds.
  • Hand-Pulling: Regularly hand-pull weeds, especially when they are young and small. This method is effective for controlling weeds in smaller areas.
  • Herbicides: If necessary, use herbicides carefully to target weeds without harming your desired plants. Always read and follow the instructions on the herbicide label.
  • Weed Barriers: Consider using weed barriers or landscape fabric underneath your mulch to prevent weeds from germinating.
  • Regular Maintenance: Keep your landscape beds well-maintained by removing debris, pruning plants, and watering appropriately.

By combining these methods, you can effectively maintain weed-free landscape beds and enjoy a beautiful outdoor space.

Sincerely,

Heather Bordner-Ayyob
