Our team had an incredible time at the Everence Financial Development Conference earlier this month! We were thrilled to be in attendance, soaking up knowledge and inspiration that we can't wait to put into action at ASSETS. Our very own CEO, Jaime Arroyo, had the honor of being the plenary speaker at one of the evening dinners, where he shared insights into ASSETS' remarkable 30-year journey and the incredible entrepreneurs who have helped shape our community. It was an enlightening experience, and we're more motivated than ever to continue our mission of empowering entrepreneurs and building an equitable economy. 
Our team was grateful to cross paths with a true legend at the Everence Development Conference! Howard Good, ASSETS' very first President, is a living testament to the giants who paved the way for us. As Jaime wisely said during his speech, “We stand on the shoulders of giants that came before us.”

If it wasn't for Howard and many others who played key roles in our history, ASSETS wouldn't be here today. Thank you, Howard, and thank you to the many other giants for your incredible contributions.

White House Meeting with Latino CDFI Executives
On October 11, the Biden-Harris Administration joined forces with Latino CDFI leaders to discuss President Biden’s 'Investing in America' agenda. Jaime Arroyo, our CEO, was in attendance representing ASSETS. Their shared goal is to enhance economic prosperity and equity for Latino communities through strategic investments and barrier reduction.

The meeting was marked by personal stories shared by Latino CDFI executives, underscoring the historic investments being made to transform our nation and prioritize underserved communities.

This partnership is just the beginning, with a commitment to continued collaboration to better serve Latino communities.
Greenspring Advisors Awards ASSETS with a Grant
We're thrilled to share the incredible news that ASSETS has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2023 Greenspring Grant. ASSETS is deeply grateful to have received this grant from Greenspring Advisors. This grant will be instrumental in advancing our mission to build an equitable economy as we continue to serve Lancaster County's small business and entrepreneur community.
