Craft Activity: Make a Crankie Movie

Does your middle schooler have a flair for storytelling? Have them make their own crankie movie! A "crankie" is a hand-cranked movie made from a paper scroll and a simple viewing box. This is an excellent group project for all ages. Try creating a favorite story at your next get-together with family and friends! Download The Instructions >

We are so excited to announce the winners of our curriculum cover coloring contest! The 5-8 winner is Saorise and the K-4 winner is Aspen. Saorise will be applying her gorgeous cover design to her 8th Grade Math Coursebook and Aspen's design will be used on her 4th Grade Coursebook. Congratulations to our winners and a huge thank you to all of our fantastic entrants.

Falling for Science Autumn is a time of change and exploration. There are so many questions to ask: Why do leaves change color? Can you grow a pumpkin from pumpkin seeds?
