I also love the connection it gives me to our loving Father and Savior in interceding on behalf of the requestors. Although prayer is regarded as a “spiritual” activity, I experience it as pragmatic and a concrete way to “make things happen.” For me, “I’ll pray for you” isn’t a sentimental throwaway line but a commitment to engage with the sympathetic, benevolent, and gracious Almighty God who doesn’t nitpick my word choices and has repeatedly answered my prayers in ways beyond my expectations and imagination. What a privilege it is to be involved in this ministry!"
