Community Events: Fundraiser for FLO International


Join LHS Alumni, Olf Leyinda Mouyaka, as he raises funds for FLO International - his organization designed to use the power of sports to help bring people together, inspire youth, and create lasting change.


During his time at LHS, Olf was the captain of the LHS Soccer team and last year he even delivered the 2024 LHS Commencement speech. He credits growing up in Lowell for teaching him "the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and giving back to our city."

Recruiting: Pathmaker Spring Class!

Since the launch of the HMS MEDscience Pathmaker Program last Fall, we have provided 24 young adults aged 18-29 with basic lab skill training and job counseling to help them enter the life science fields.


We're now recruiting for our Spring Class!


When: Spring Class will start February 18th and go until April 10th, with training sessions occurring every Tuesday and Thursday during this 8-week period from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Where: The program is split between Lowell and the Longwood Medical Area in Boston, with travel into Boston at least once a week. While transportation is not provided, a transportation stipend is provided, as well as instructions on how to get to the Longwood Medical Area.


Stipend: The program provides a $1,500 stipend upon successful completion.

From mentors, advisors, guest speakers, tutors and more, Lowell High Alumni are valuable resources for current students. The Lowell High Alumni Association is a collaboration between Project LEARN and the Lowell Public School district. The mission of the Alumni Association is to help alumni connect with each other, to engage with the school, community and to inspire future generations of Lowell High students through mentoring, advising and tutoring. We invite alumni to connect and find ways to work on new and existing programs within the schools to better the academics and the lives of all Lowell Public School students.
