Something to Celebrate

I have always been fascinated with history. Perhaps, it is the need to be connected to my past in a way that was lost when my mother died. Perhaps it is the story in hi story that draws me in, but I have always found that history helps to make sense of today and inform tomorrow. Dr. Carl Sagan famously said, “You have to know the past to understand the present.” Perhaps I just wanted to understand.

No one would argue that 2020 is a year that will have a place in history. Perhaps not for the happiest reasons, but nonetheless, it will be a year we will long remember. It turns out, we have something wonderful to celebrate this year. So, consider this your “save the date” for a really big party . I sure hope you will join me – and bring all of your girlfriends.

 The Big 3 Impact Events
Join Wendy and special guest Allison Beers , Impact100 Traverse City virtually to talk about the Impact’s Big 3 Events: The Big Reveal, Meet the Finalists & Annual Awards.

Allison started EventsNorth in 2008 after working for two of the largest event planning agencies in the world. In 2016, Connect Magazine, a National Meeting Planning publication, named Allison to the top 40 under 40 leaders in the industry.
Best Practices
As Impact100 leaders, we understand that many of our members rejoin us every year. Including an option on your chapter's Membership Information page allowing your members to select an "Evergreen Membership" or auto-renewing option makes it easier for our members and for our membership committees. Although several Impact100 chapters utilize this strategy, many do not.

Pro Tip:  Identifying your Evergreen members provides great benefits—these are the women who are deeply committed to your work and the Impact100 philosophies and would be ideally suited to join or lead committees, host membership information sessions, and more.
