I Don't Find it That Funny (above) by Sarah Chin, our featured 2020 Square Foot Fiber Art Pin Up Show winning entry. Reverse applique and free-motion stitching with cotton, satin, spandex, and mesh fabric. Sarah says, "In my art, I like to use textiles techniques to capture emotion. Using a broad and dense combination of simple techniques such as sewing, dyeing, layering, and stuffing, allows me to manipulate the materials in a way that tells a story. Exploring these techniques with different materials creates texture by replacing paint with fabric, needle, and thread, ultimately bringing my creations to life.
