Additionally, the policies on the use of Methadone in county prisons can vary widely.

Philadelphia City Officials Vow to Keep City Clean After Cleanup Project

Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker pledged a new year round cleanup project after success with the city-wide cleanup this summer.


Over 60,000 quality of life services were provided block by block, partnering local nonprofits and hundreds of volunteers with city officials.


Efforts include street cleaning, flower and tree planting, and will expand into other services shown to make cities more beautiful and green.

Costs of Adding New Roads Far Exceed Benefits, Study Finds

Every year, the United States averages a cost of billions when constructing and restoring local and national roadways.


The Journal of the American Planning Association claims that American urban road systems are “overbuilt” and therefore will not result in economic benefit.


Bloomberg explores this claim and uses several nationwide examples to interpret the findings that adding new roads will result in higher cost than benefit.
