Arts for Life Provides Respite, Community for Caregivers and Loved Ones in West Scranton

Arts for Life is a free art and writing program that gives caregivers and loved ones a chance to find community and express artistic respite in West Scranton.


Art classes are suggested to reduce stress, boost self-confidence, and allow participants to bond.


The program also aims to reduce isolation for caregivers and create community connections.

Delaware County Debuts Online Interactive Map for Growing Trail System

Delaware County has debuted an online interactive map hub which consolidates nature maps and gives real-time updates for its growing trail system.


The Delaware County Primary Trail Network Information Hub lets users explore individual trails, check their status, and get a more detailed picture of the trail system.


Delaware County has over 45 miles of open trail, with more in various stages of development.

Meet the Advocate Helping People Thrive After Prison

Community Empowerment Services is a reentry program that helps formerly incarcerated people reconnect with community resources such as housing, healthcare, and transportation.


Founded by Michael Eskridge in Cumberland County, this program focuses on crafting individual care plans to meet needs.


Since its creation in July 2024, 52 people have been assisted, with hopes for expansion and additional funding.
