PennDOT is Adding Truck Parking Spaces Across the State to Improve Road Safety      

PennDOT is creating 1,202 truck parking spaces across the state to help improve road safety and reduce risky traffic behaviors.


PennDOT-owned land will be converted into parking and rest areas for truckers, along with updated signage.


The expansion is expected to be completed through 2026 and is running alongside various other statewide road safety initiatives.
