Travel School Nurse Programs Aims to Ease Shortage in Lackawanna County

The Moses Taylor Foundation has partnered with the Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit to launch a Travel School Nurse Pilot Program this school year to address shortages in Lackawanna County.


From 2022-2023, school nurse funding and staffing were examined in Northeast Pennsylvania to determine trends and service gaps.

New Tool Streamlines HIV Treatment and Prevention Resources in Philly

A new Philadelphia-based tool is providing easy access to HIV treatment and prevention resources in one place.


The Philadelphia HIV Resource Finder is a digital searchable directory available through the Health Department’s Philly Keep on Loving.


This tool is part of the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative, a federal program that includes 48 counties aimed at reducing HIV infections in those areas by 90 percent by 2030.
