First, EM-370(Z) is a halogen-free solution for FR4 designs that has a 36% lower Z-axis CTE than Isola's 370HR and 185HR. This lower CTE delivers greater reliability on stacked vias and on OM testing for IPC "D" coupons. Plus, EM-370(Z) has higher flexible modulus for greater rigidity.

If you're looking for a laminate suitable for very complex PCBs that utlizie advanced building blocks from ultra-thin prepregs to highly controlled cores, try EMC's EM-827(I).


This lead-free laminate has high Tg with low X-axis CTE for excellent thermal stability. It is suitable for computer, server, and consumer electronics applications.

ARLON 85HP IS A POLYIMIDE

Arlon’s 85HP is the best-in-class 250⁰C high glass transition temperature polyimide resin system available on the market today.


This unique blend of polyimide resin and micro-fine proprietary fillers results in superior performance for the most demanding thermal and high layer applications. Compared to conventional polyimide systems, 85HP has a lower Z-axis expansion and twice the thermal conductivity of conventional polyimide resin systems.


85HP has proven to reduce cracking and wicking in high layer, high density, thick copper designs that challenge conventional resin systems. Applications for 85HP include mission critical PCBs for military, aerospace, space, down hole oil and gas drilling and many other high reliability applications.
