The Consultative Connection
New Changes within Nationwide Insurance brought about new policy numbers and new available coverage options with ONE Product.

  • Auto Insurance policies automatically include $3,000 of custom equipment.
  • Home Insurance policies now include an optional Equipment Breakdown endorsement which provides coverage to repair or replace costly appliances in the home due to an electrical, mechanical or pressure systems breakdown.
  • Valuables Plus (Inland Marine Coverage) has changed to be included as an endorsement to your home, renters or condo policy.
  • Incidental business liability has been removed. General office, beauty shops, and schools/daycares based out of home will no longer have protection and will require a separate policy.
  • Umbrella policies (excess liability above and beyond your auto and home) can be written up to $5 Million.
  • Worldwide Umbrella policy is now available

Can You Recognize A Scam?
A few months ago, we experienced "spoofed emails." What is a "spoofed email?" Simply, it is an email sent out which looked like it is coming from us, but was not.

Here are some tips to know if you are receiving a spoofed email:
  • To the right of the "from email" there is a "shadow" email address usually in a light grey color.
  • Misspelled words
  • Incorrect signature format
  • Request for money
  • Includes a link or an attachment (DO NOT Open!)
If something doesn't seem quite right with the email, pick up the telephone and call to confirm with the sender.

If you believe you may have received such a spoofed email from one of our team, please accept our apologies!
If you think you have or are being scammed, tell someone!
