From the Desk of Our Founder

Ronald Stram, M.D.

As we celebrate our 23rd year of the Stram Center, I’m filled with gratitude for the incredible community that continues to grow with us. Over the years, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to learning, evolving, and providing integrative care that treats the whole person.

In this issue, we focus on women’s health—sharing ways to support estrogen detoxification naturally, manage hormonal shifts through food and lifestyle, and address common concerns like PMS, heavy periods, and hair loss from a functional medicine perspective. We also take a closer look at emerging treatments like GLP-1 medications, the importance of staying on top of health screenings, and the healing power of self-care—especially when practiced in community.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re honored to be part of yours.

Warmly,

Ronald Stram, M.D.

Cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound derived from the cannabis plant and has great potential therapeutic benefits. While oral and topical CBD products are widely known, intravenous (IV) administration is emerging as a method that delivers CBD directly into the bloodstream, potentially enhancing its efficacy.
