Pedagogy:
Teaching From The Bench &
Demonstrating: When, How, and Why!

The Institute for Jaques-Dalcroze Education at Monocacy Manor offers eighteen hours of intensive Jaques-Dalcroze training. This third weekend of the season will focus on pedagogy and include solfége (exploring minor mode), improvisation at the piano, and body technique in eurhythmics.

The intensive weekends are designed to help Dalcrozians hone their skills as they work to obtain the three levels of Jaques-Dalcroze Certification, the Jaques-Dalcroze License, or the Jaques-Dalcroze Diplome Supèrieur.  The program begins on Friday evening after 5:30 supper and ends on Sunday at 3:30.
