2019-2020 INTENT TO RETURN and SIBLING SURVEY
Dear St. Serra Parents,
The St. Junipero Serra Catholic School administrators, faculty and staff would like to thank you for choosing St. Serra as the Catholic, faith-filled educational community for your family. Partnered with our amazing parent leadership, we continue to make St. Serra the best possible Catholic school in the area and a great value compared to other private schools. It is because of you that we are stronger together! Focused on our Mission, we strive to develop Christ-centered children who are willing to be compassionate leaders, actively engaged in their learning and ready to serve with their God-given gifts.
As you reflect on your family's educational decision for next year, we invite you to take a look at the
Grade-level Academic Highlight Videos
found on our website, for a glimpse of what is in store for your child(ren) next year. Each video represents just some of the academic highlights from each grade over the last year.
As we look forward to the 2019-2020 school year, we ask all current families to complete the Intent to Return form. This year, we have provided a link that will direct families to complete and submit the form online.
to complete the Intent to Return and Sibling Survey. It is imperative that we receive a completed Intent to Return form for
current family on or before
December 17, 2018
We would also like to give our current families the opportunity to provide potential placement for siblings of registered students.
Sibling Application Instructions:
Parents must complete a sibling application for any NEW sibling applying for Preschool-8th grade who are not currently enrolled at St. Serra. If your family states that they plan to apply for a NEW sibling on the Intent to Return, please complete an online application. Online applications are available at www.serraschool.org>Admissions>Apply Now. Sibling applications should be submitted online by January 8, 2019.
Some grade levels have birth date or other requirements as stated below:
- Preschool 4-Year-Old program - Applicants must be potty-trained.
- Young 4-Year-Old Program for students who turn 4 after September 1, 2019
- PreK Program for students who turn 4 prior to September 1, 2019
Transitional Kindergarten Program - Applicants must be five years of age by December 1, 2019.
NOTE: The notification of your interest in applying for a new sibling into the school does not guarantee placement for the student, as we must have openings and in some cases, the student must pass an assessment.
If you have any additional questions regarding the Intent to Return Form or the Sibling Application, please contact Shirley Merchant in the Admissions Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or (949) 888-1990 ext. 123.
We look forward to you joining us as we prepare to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in the 2019-2020 school year!
God is good all the time...All the time God is good.
