Berkeley Judicial Institute and California Law Review 2019 Symposium: Charting a Path for Federal Judicial Reform
. This important day-long discussion will bring together district and circuit judges, practitioners, and academics to examine half-century old questions about stresses on the federal appellate system and its functioning, identify new issues and perspectives, and explore how the federal judiciary might be reformed to improve the administration of justice. Topics will include changes to federal courts jurisdiction, Supreme Court term or age limits, expansion of judicial slots, the ramifications of technological change, and case management practices.

– Join Berkeley Law’s La Raza Law Students Association at the 17th Annual Honorable Cruz Reynoso Fellowship Gala on Friday, April 5th, at 6:00 PM, at UC Berkeley's Pauley Ballroom.
In addition to recognizing the legacy of
Hon. Cruz Reynoso '58
, the first Latinx associate justice of the California Supreme Court, this dinner raises funds to support current Latinx law students pursuing judicial externships or public interest summer internships. This year two graduating students will also receive bar scholarships.
