Nevada families no longer have to pay thousands of dollars in fines and fees when they have a child in the juvenile delinquency system, thanks to the initiative of Savannah Reid '20 (left) and Dagen Downard '20 (center), students in Berkeley Law's Policy Advocacy Clinic.

Earlier this month, Berkeley Law hosted the Pipeline to Law Initiative, which brings Native American college students from across the country to Berkeley for a workshop that offers LSAT prep support, networking, mentorship, and information about law school application criteria and funding options.

Norma J. Williams '77 was selected statewide to receive the inaugural Excellence In Practice Award given by the Solo and Small Firm Section of the California Lawyers Association. The award is to honor a solo or small firm attorney who has demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication to the legal profession and has contributed to the betterment of the practice of law. She accepted the award at a ceremony in Huntington Beach on June 14.

International Association of Berkeley Law Alumni in Europe 52nd Reunion
IABA ­– the International Association of Berkley Law alumni in Europe ­– held its 52nd   annual reunion in the ancient and beautiful Greek city of Athens in June. The reunion was organized by Nikos Moussas LL.M. '88 and featured a lecture by Berkeley Law Professor Stavros Gadinis.
