Dear Berkeley Law Alumni,
It has been just over two weeks since I arrived at Berkeley Law, and though I still occasionally find myself lost in the corridors of the law school, I am feeling quite at home in this warm and welcoming academic community.
With each passing day, as I learn more about this institution’s brilliant faculty, passionate students, and impactful alumni, I find myself even more excited at the prospect of working with you to ensure the law school’s continued excellence.
I hope to meet many of you in person in the coming weeks and months. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me at
mmatheron@law.berkeley.edu
or 510.643.8170 with your ideas, comments, or questions regarding our alumni programming and fundraising efforts.
Very warmest regards,
Mary Briese Matheron

Berkeley Law is a vibrant and diverse international community during the summer. More than 60 countries are represented in this year's class of international lawyers who come to Berkeley for two consecutive summers to earn an LL.M. in the law school's professional track program. These students, many of whom are already accomplished attorneys in their home countries, form close relationships with peers from across the globe and learn as much from each other as in the classroom.
