Laura's K thru 6 interactive school program focuses on the importance of rough drafts for writing and creating pictures. It's like practice.

And we all know what happens

when you practice...

The children are shown rough drafts from Laura's books, with interactive discussion, then everyone draws together. Teachers, too!

(The kids love to see what their teachers draw.)

A step-by-step formula insures that each child will leave with two beautiful illustrations that they drew themselves.

Tailored for grade levels, the students are also encouraged to add a word, a sentence or even a short story to their illustrations.

After each session is a book signing. The children meet Laura as she signs books to them.

There is always flexibility of arranging pricing and book sales. Laura donates 15% of book sales to the school. If the school handles book sales, they can purchase the books at 15% off retail.
