Walk-up Workshop sessions are held in public areas of the annual conference and help with overcrowding and engagement of members.
Criteria for a Walk-up Workshop
- Workshop to be presented at a designated walk-up workshop area.
- 45-minute “flex flow” session
- Demonstration format
- Demonstration should be 20 minutes long (approximately) and could be repeated
- Audience of 12 – 15 or more people (some standing)
- No use of technology
- Multi-level/all-level lesson
- Handouts to be accessible by email, TAEA app or website
- Presenter has examples of the process at the various stages of the assignment
