In collaboration with the American Payroll association, NYIT offers two professional development courses for payroll professionals: PayTrain Level Fundamentals and PayTrain Level 2. The PayTrain Fundamentals (Level 1) class will be offered through Zoom in the summer of 2022
The PayTrain Level 1 class is ideal for new payroll professionals, consultants, and service providers. It is open to all those looking to gain a baseline knowledge of payroll competency, and it will cover all basic payroll skills while preparing students for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) exam. The calculations taught in this class are critical to successfully passing the FPC and CPP exams, and they are not covered in the PayTrain Level 2 course.
