The last two weeks at Tailwheel Town
I've been very gratified at the number of orders for "Swoop". If you don't have it yet, it's easy to order from Amazon.
Here's the link:https://www.amazon.com/dp/1730917437, or just go to "Swoop". Here's a head-slapper: They tell me that Reviews are very helpful when it comes to sales of books. So, if any of you who have read the book and think it's worth it, want to write a quick review, I'd be very grateful!!
Work continues both on the second collection of stories and also "Airshow Pilot" the story of 14 years in the airshow business. I'll certainly let everyone knows when those two are finished. They might each be a very fun read!
I don't know what I did to deserve all the wonderful pilots who come to Tailwheel Town to improve. I just started another! Jessica DeVan is a wonderful pilot. And we've been having a ball. She's been moved up a bit for someone with so few hours. She'll be familiarized with the "YoYo" and I predict she'll love it! Jess had a chance to experience some tailwheel flying, the Tailwheel Town way. A big "thank you" to Mike Macon for helping to provide her with some formation experience.

Daughter Janet proved that once again, the apple has not fallen far from the tree... If I only knew where the damned tree was! She flew the PA12 the other day and flew like the talented aviatrix she is. Honestly, I don't know where she gets it, but her skills are, in my opinion, very impressive!

A flier came home to the roost for a bit anyway! Tyler Head and I flew the PA12 for a bit and Tyler is doing great. Seems that he's really taken to it and I see him in his 170 all the time. Nothing like staying current!

A new article on the Tailwheeler's Journal
"All my hobbies require the wearing of a helmet" is the latest article to grace to pages of the Tailwheeler's
Journal. I think you may appreciate this article about a man whose humility has effectively kept him from total stardom. And you know something? I think that's the way he likes it!
An older article worth another look...
I've got just the thing for you who have had something that obstructed your runway! "The Roller on the Runway" is a previously posted article that describes such a happening. I guess we all need to know how to deal with that!
